.Cats in Hat

Lions and tigers and bears, (oh my) "wimpy kids," Cats in Hats, Loraxes, Fancy Nancies and more took over several elementary schools March 2 during Read Across America Day, also celebrated nationally as Dr. Seuss' birthday.  Students and staff dressed up like their favorite book characters, and business professionals, politicians, deputies, firefighters, college coaches, football players, students and other VIPs visited schools and read to classes.
