The East Baton Rouge Parish School System has selected six semifinalists to proceed in the interview process to replace outgoing Superintendent John Dilworth. The Board began one-on-one interviews with the first three of the six semifinalist candidates Wednesday, January 18. The remaining three will be interviewed beginning at 3 p.m. Monday, January 23, at the Instructional Resource Center at 1022 S. Foster Drive.
It is expected each candidate's interview will last approximately two hours. Board members will be given about one hour for questions. Following the Board interview, members of the public are invited to ask questions of the candidates, as well.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend these meetings. If members of the community cannot attend the proceedings in person, they may find additional information on the district's website.
