East Baton Rouge Parish District Performance Scores Increase 

 

More Than 87 Percent of Schools Show Growth: 
The District's Growth Rate Outpaces State Average


The East Baton Rouge Parish School System (EBRPSS) continues to show a strong and steady increase in its average District Performance Score (DPS) over the last five years, according to the 2011 DPS results released by the Louisiana State Department of Education October 5. 
 
 

 
On Monday, October 3, a group of key Baton Rouge businesses, educational institutions, community and non-profit organizations and service providers joined forces to launch a unique program aimed at reducing poverty for the students and families of Istrouma High School and its attendance zone.
