East Baton Rouge Parish School System Begins Revision of Current Strategic Plan. Your Input is Needed

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System began revising its current Strategic Plan in earnest Monday, April 4, when more than 230 participants took part in 20 different focus groups over a three-day period.  These participants included community and business leaders, members of the faith-based community, parents, students, East Baton Rouge Parish School System staff and School Board members.

Help Prepare Students for LEAP Testing

In schools across the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, many students will be taking the LEAP standardized test the week of April 11.  Besides paying attention in class and studying on an ongoing basis, students can prepare for testing in other ways.  For instance, it's imperative they get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a healthy breakfast the day of testing.  That way they are well rested, focused and energized.  Parents are asked to help students get their rest and nutrition and encourage them to try their best during the testing period.
