Providence 101 Pre-Membership Class  

Saturday, July 28, 8:30am-12:30pm and Sunday, July 29, 9:00-10:10am

 

We value membership at Providence. God takes us to new levels in our walk with Him when we own the responsibility for Providence together. Something significant grows in our friendships when we carry the mission of Providence together. 

 

For these reasons, we are inviting those who have yet to unite in membership with us to consider attending our Providence 101 class. Attendance at these classes will not obligate you to join. However these classes are required in order to become a member.

The Scriptures tell us that we are to be baptized once we believe as an outward sign of our decision to follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We will hold a baptism at Rita Weeks' home in North Olmsted. More details about the baptism classes will be available soon. Please pray about taking this step of obedience.

Opportunities to Serve at Providence Church

 

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."               I Corinthians 12:4-7

 

There are opportunities to serve the body of Christ in the following ways:

 

- Sunday morning PowerPoint or sound board

 

- Greeting, ushering, coffee team, bulletin  

  distribution, or Information Center help

 

- Friday afternoon office help on the 1st, 3rd

  and 5th weeks of the month for 

  1 1/2 hours.
