PB&J Lunch
Sun., Jan. 15, 12pm
The PB&J Lunch provides new attendees a chance to get to know Providence and senior pastor, Jim Bzdafka, as he talks about the history of Providence, what we believe, and what you can expect when you get involved. Attending a PB&J Lunch gives you an opportunity to get information and ask questions in a laid-back environment while meeting some of the staff, elders, members, and other families new to Providence. FOCUS Workshops
Sundays, Jan. 8 - Feb. 26, 10:30am, Rm 16
One FOCUS Workshop will be offered during the January-February months.
Church History
led by Doug Fink
In this class, we are going to pick up the story of the church from where we left off at the end of Calvin's life and carry it through the establishment of a Puritan "city upon a hill" in the new world. Topics will include the Catholic "counter-reformation," the reformation in England and the Puritans' motivation for leaving Europe. Participation in previous history classes is not necessary - this class can stand alone.
