Providence Church is offering you the opportunity to purchase a Poinsettia in honor, or in memory, of a loved one. The flowers will decorate our Worship Center during the Christmas season and each donor may take their donated Poinsettias home at the conclusion of the Christmas Eve service.

Dedicate a poinsettia online HERE or in the Foyer on Sunday.

Ornament Exchange

Thurs., Dec. 15, 7pm
408 Crestwood Drive, Avon Lake
Join us at the home of Elaine George for this annual event! Bring a wrapped ornament costing no more than $10. If your last name begins with A-M, please bring an appetizer to share; N-Z, a dessert.

Sign up in the Foyer on Sunday if you plan to attend.

Advent Conspiracy

Join Providence Church this Christmas as we seek to conspire against materialism by spending less and giving more. As we spend less on gifts, the money saved will be pooled together to purchase a new home for the Mission to the Fatherless orphans in Oyugis, Kenya.

To participate in Advent Conspiracy, please make your check payable to Providence Church, memo: Advent Conspiracy 2011. Gifts received through December 31, 2011 are tax deductible!

Watch and pray with eagerness for God to complete the orphanage and fill it with children who will be loved, cared for, and raised to follow Jesus!

Elder Blog

As part of an effort to improve communication between the elders and the congregation, the elders have launched a new blog.

The blog will be used to convey information about things the elders are working on, requests for prayer, and personal messages from the elders to the body.

You can find the elder blog under the "Resources" tab on the website or by clicking HERE. You must log in to view the blog entries.
