Baptism and Picnic 

Sun., Aug. 28, 5pm  

Join us in this special time of celebration and fellowship at the baptism and picnic (held at the home of Rita Weeks). 

 

 Adult Classes:

Thurs., Aug.18, 7-9pm

Sun., Aug. 21, 10:30-11:45am 

 

Adults, if you are interested in being baptized, attendance at both baptism classes is required. Please pick up a baptism packet at the Information Center on Sunday.  

 

Children's Class (6th grade and younger):

Sun., Aug. 21, 10:30-11:45am

Awana  

Tues., 6:15-7:45pm, beginning Sept. 13 

Children in grades K-5 are invited to join us on Tuesdays for a time of group games, worship and teaching, and small group discipleship. Students will be encouraged to memorize Scripture and challenged in their faith as they work through a workbook over the course of the school year!

 

Registration will begin on Sun., Aug. 14.   




Wheels for the World  

Aug. 14-26  

Providence Church is a donation site for this summer's wheelchair drive sponsored by Wheels for the World (A Ministry of Joni and Friends). Any mobility item that can be refurbished can be donated. You may drop off used wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or crutches in Room 11 beginning Aug. 14.
