Volume 3
March 10, 2010

Dear Antique Boaters,

As we write this, we are in  the final stages of preparation for the Sunnyland Boat Festival this coming weekend  March 26-28th. We look forward to seeing our new and existing customers at our booth.

We are also beginning to prepare for our attendance and exhibiting at the Keels & Wheels Show. This is the largest Car/Boat event of its kind in the country and will be held in beautiful Seabrook, Texas, May 1-2. Last year, this event attracted more than 13,000 spectators to the Gulf Coast of Texas to see more than 200 vintage cars and 75 more Classic Wooden boats.

Recently Listed for Sale - 1951 Chris Craft Sportsman

This is just what the Doctor ordered for relief from a long winter.  This little sweetie is a 1951 Chris Craft 18' Sportsman that is ready to go right now.  The boat is in our showroom and it looks just great.  The boat is all original with a rebuilt Model "K" engine and brand new (last season) mooring canvas.  The boat was not used last season because the young family that owned it became the new parents of twins...and that is where boating changes.  So the boat has come back into our showroom and it is a great little boat.  The boat is priced right and when you see it you will fall in love with it.  The Sportsman was and is one of the most desirable models that Chris Craft has ever produced and this model in 1951 was a huge hit with the small boat crowd and it water skis' with the best of them.
Plan to give this boat the once over when you stop in the building this spring...she's a charmer and ready to go.
