Early May 2011 - Turkey South Coast Bike & Boat

Just in!  We plan to discover the southwest coast of Turkey along the Greek Aegean Sea by bike and boat on a stylish and comfortable Turkish Bahriyeli ship (pronounced "Barijeli"), with a crew of 4, starting in Marmaris, the yacht capital of the Aegean.  We relax the first two nights at a 5-star hotel in Marmaris, then board our ship to discover by bike and boat the historical cities of Sarsala, Fethiye, Gocek, Dalyan, Ekincik, returning to Marmaris. This is a 7 night/8 day bike and boat adventure.  We bike 25 to 35 miles a day through partly hilly terrain on a hybrid or mountain bike, included in the cost.  With our guide, we discover historical cities taking us back in time, natural wonders, and exhilarating vistas.  Layover days are your choice.  Half day biking is available.  A non-riding spouse or friend is welcomed.  We dock in exciting port cities each night and enjoy dinner prepared by our chef on the boat.  A full breakfast is also included and a picnic lunch is available to purchase.  A tour company representative will meet us on the start day at the Dalaman airport for a 3-hour transfer by van to Marmaris.  The total tour is 9 nights/10 days.  Our website will be ready soon with all the details, itinerary, location map, dates and cost.  If you would like to be added to the email list as information becomes available, please email Gloria Colley at gtcolley@aol.com.  As always, the group rate per person is reasonable for BRAG riders and friends.  We are limited to 22 riders.
