Last Friday Louisiana Film Series Schedule
Movie night! On the last Friday of every month all through 2012 the Historical Society will present movies made in Louisiana and about life in our state. Movies have been made in the pelican State since filmmaking began, about a century ago. The very first Tarzan movie was made here in 1918. Weʼll show an old movie that suits the season every month at 7:00pm and follow each one with an informal discussion for those who want to stay and talk. Movies are free. Fresh popcorn and ice-cold soft drinks will be available, of course!
