Saturday March 3, 2012 the Janell Legier LaCombe Memorial Fund, Inc. will be hosting  the 7th Annual Couchon de-Lait Fundraiser.  This hog roast will be held at the Red Monkey Bar & Grill in Fordoche, LA  70732 at 11:00 a.m. 

There will  plate lunches of roasted hog, jambalaya, pastalaya, and sweets, we will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win several prizes, live music during that day and at night.  Basically, and an all around good time for everyone.

Live music will be provided throughout the day, as well as into the night. In addition, raffle tickets are currently being sold.

The prize's for the raffle are as follows:

Hunting Riffle, Cash Prizes, and Other Donated Items

All the proceeds benefit the Janell Legier LaCombe Scholarship program for area high school graduates, as well as helping support local cancer patients with unmet medical needs.

The Janell Legier LaCombe Memorial Fund, Inc. is a Louisiana non-profit organization. The money raised allows Nell's Angels to fund a scholarship for area high school students affected by cancer. They have also in the past purchased days at the spa for massages for ladies going through chemotherapy, along with direct grants to families who have a love one dealing with cancer. These grants help with medical bills, supplies, and other expenses associated with treatment.
