CRDA's mission is to recruit new businesses to the region. To fulfill that mission, it offers site search capabilities to prospective clients with an online interactive mapping application. The online mapping tool enhances analysis and reporting functionalities by adding access to the latest demography and market data. One major feature this tool offers is the ability to create demographic reports for specific market areas (see example graphic above). Reports can be formatted for areas derived within a radius distance or drive-time for: 2010 and 2015 demographics, 2010 consumer spending, 2010 market potential, 2010 tapestry market segmentation, business data, traffic counts, 1990/2000 census demographics. The BCDCOG's Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) currently has funds to loan. The RLF's primary goal is job creation and retention. It is a federally initiated, state-backed program designed to assist businesses whose projects should improve the tri-county economy. Eligible uses for loans include the purchase of equipment and land, and the improvement of real estate and building facilities. The RLF can assist with start-up businesses or the expansion of an existing business.
