On the MerleFest Cabin Stage (Photo: Walter LeCroy) |
MerleFest 2010
It was another great MerleFest this year! The weather was perfect and the audiences were awesome! Here are some highlights:
- Andy's set on the Cabin Stage was recorded by FestivaLink and will soon be available as a CD or download from their website and Andy's. Or, you can watch a couple of song videos on YouTube now.
- The MerleFest Youth Showcases were full-up and brimming with talent. We were delighted to see one of our younger performers, a 4-year veteran of the Youth Showcase, up on the Watson Stage fiddling Swallowtail Jig with Scythian for an audience of thousands later in the festival! She was cool as a cucumber. Watch the video.
- Andy was joined by daughter Katie for a few songs at his MerleFest artist outreach show at Mount Pleasant Elementary School. The kids loved the show, and they were a treat to play for!
