 MerleFest MerleFest is the wonderful Americana (or as Doc Watson puts it, "traditional-plus") music festival held each spring in Wilkesboro, NC. (Read more) The festival always has an awe-inspiring lineup, and the setting is spectacular. It's always one of the high points of the year for Andy.
Andy will be especially busy at MerleFest this year. In addition to the MerleFest Youth Showcases, community outreach, the Songwriters Coffeehouse, and a music business workshop, he will be performing a solo set on the Cabin Stage, one of the main stages of the festival.
If you've never been to MerleFest, do yourself a favor and consider coming this year. It takes place from April 29 - May 2. Map |

Andy May's Guitar 101 Workshop at the Country Music Hall of Fame
Andy is delighted to announce this new workshop, coming in May 2010 (exact date TBA). Guitar 101 will be a fun, hands-on workshop for beginners. He'll teach the basics in his characteristic easy-going style--with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's legendary "guitars of the stars" as a backdrop. (How cool is that!?) There will be guitars on hand for participants to use.
