| Carla Fletcher: Our Special Guest |
Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre would like to extend a special thankyou to Carla Fletcher, a 2010 Archibald finalist who travelled from Melbourne to attend our Archibald opening night and to give a free floor talk on Saturday 6th November 2010. Carla helped us see through the eyes of an artist's journey, the ups, the downs and the in-betweens of creating a work of art. Carla is currently working on her next exhibition. > ARCHIBALD.PRIZE.2010. Opening night photographs.

| Archibald finalist Greg Sommers visits the arts centre |
Greg Sommers whist taking a weekend drive, visited Mudgee Art Gallery and was winding his way back to the coast via the Hunter to see his son when he noticed a sign in front of our gallery.
Greg and his wife lunched at the Artiste Café and then he entered the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre to view his self portrait. As you can see if he still looks like his painting.
