Job Description 

 

We're searching for a dynamic business development manager who wants to stand out and most importantly, wants to make our microcontroller organization stand out as a top performer and market leader.

 

This manager will work as part of a team that's sharing the responsibility to grow revenue and market share for microcontrollers in Korea. Staying close to both customers externally and business units internally is important in this role, requiring flexibility and willingness to travel.

 

In this role, you'll support customers, TI's sales force, TI representatives and distributors and enable them to close deals and win business. Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Explore, analyze, and develop new areas for business growth through new applications, competitive takeaways, and the changing needs of existing customers.

 

  • Serve as the primary interface between the field sales team/customer and the factory.

 

  • Own the strategy for growth of new business and execution of existing opportunities; this includes managing the relationship with salespeople in your region and developing/managing internal flex teams to execute your strategies.

 

Your success will be measured on double-digit growth of revenue, continuously increasing market share, increasing the overall size of your customer base, and your share of our distributor's business. You will need to develop strong relationships with customers, and be responsible for the level of support that they and our salespeople need to close business and for our business to grow to meet our goals.

 

The ideal candidate will have a BSEE or BSCE and a minimum of 3 years experience with sales/marketing of microcontroller products/systems. A solid understanding of what it takes to develop market penetration strategies, and previous experience working with semiconductor distributors, are also needed. Ideal candidate will be fluent in Korean & English.  

 

Applications engineering experience is also valuable, while having account ownership experience or a strong understanding of the sales process is required.
