
Junhyon Park currently serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at 1-800 CONTACTS, INC, the world's largest contact lens retailer serving more than 10 million customers.
Under his leadership, the corporate business intelligence/analytic team (consisting of financial analysts and data warehouse professionals) was created six years ago and has contributed to optimizing the company's data management, improving CRM and marketing campaigns, and ROI management.
During his tenure at 1-800 CONTACTS, Mr. Park co-managed the sale of Clearlab, Inc., 1-800's contact lens manufacturing subsidiary in June 2007. Mr. Park also played a key role in the successful completion of the sale of the company to Fenway Partners, a NY based private equity firm. He also played a critical role in signing a long-term business agreement with Wal-Mart to help customers save money and live better.
Prior to joining 1-800 CONTACTS, Mr. Park worked as a senior associate at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, specializing in middle market M&A and corporate restructuring. His clients included Bank of America, American Pad & Paper, Enron, Lockheed Martin, Ethyl, Loral Satellite, Dobson/American Cellular, etc. He also worked as Financial Analyst/Consultant at Walmart International.
Mr. Park graduated as valedictorian with a. B.S degree in International Business from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and earned an MBA from Brigham Young University. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
