Market Analyst, Samsung Telecom America

 Summary
- This position will conduct secondary market research, build & maintain intelligence database, and produce regular reports regarding strategic issues in US mobile/internet industry
- This is a contract position
Responsibilities in detail
- He/she will gather and study information from publicly available sources and subscribed
sources, and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports for Samsung audience
- Information sources could include Internet search, attendance to trade shows & conferences, meetings with companies, and any other resources
- Topics of the reports include but are not limited to important developments and emerging trends in US operators, services, enabling technologies, regulations, and competitors
- He/she will build and maintain knowledge database
- He/she can be assigned to special short-term research analysis projects
Backgrounds/Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in science/engineering areas or business administrations
- MBA degree a plus
- Must have good knowledge of dynamics in mobile industry and related technologies
- 0~4 years of experience in related areas a strong plus
Skills/Attributes/Work Conditions
- Fluency in written and spoken Korean is strongly required
- Fluency in Web-based documentation and database is a plus
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments to meet challenging deadlines
- Occasional works beyond regular hours
