Greetings from GCAAR President, Bonnie Casper
 Dear Fellow GCAAR Member:
Happy New Year! 2012 Promises to be a great year for REALTORS® and together we'll work hard to make it successful and fulfilling. Right now our challenges are numerous: to enhance consumer confidence in home ownership; to continue treating our colleagues with professionalism and respect; and to challenge government initiatives that make the real estate market less robust than it needs to be to serve the greater economy. Together we can do all three.
I'm happy to serve as your 2012 President, and it was great to have our annual meeting last month at the new Fillmore in Silver Spring. I'm attaching a copy of my installation remarks here if you'd like to read them. We plan to hold a lot of events in DC and Montgomery County this year, and working together we'll accomplish our goal of making 2012 a great year for REALTORS®.
