Sanna Annukka Navajo Papers

These papers were designed by artist and illustrator, Sanna Annukka. The paper is printed by a London based company that hires up-and-coming graphic artists to design their products. Sanna is a Finnish/English artist who has a love of nature and folklore. "Many a childhood summer was spent in Finland. Family trips beyond the Arctic Circle, camping in the nightless Lapland wilderness, hold some of my most treasured memories. The forests, lakes and wildlife of the region remain a constant inspiration. My personal work infuses nature, childhood memories and my love of storytelling and folklore." The papers in this collection are based on Navajo Indian designs and motifs. Each design is striking and this is an ideal paper for bookmaking arts, collage, scrapbooking, origami, card making, and more. They even look amazing framed and hung as poster art! Enkaustikos aluminum panels have a clear anodized coating to eliminate color reaction to the aluminum surface.  When using Hot Sticks against the plate you will find that they melt with ease and the plates can even serve as a nice color mixing palette.
