This is your chance to learn about one of the best kept secrets of the pastel world. Handmade since 1720, Henri Roché Pastels were the same line used by Edgar Degas and are often compared to playing a Stradivarious! Isabelle Roché will be in town as our guest speaker giving an informative presentation on Henri Roché Pastels and her family's rich history in the art world. You will leave the presentation with a new appreciation for Roché Pastels and truly understand what makes these pastels so unique in comparison to other brands. This is by far, a pastelist's dream event. In fact, the last time she spoke at a U.S. Pastel Conference, she brought her audience to tears! Pastelists, you are not going to want to miss this, reserve your spot today. Those attending can join us after the presentation for a fun social hour. Artists will enjoy refreshments and music by local jazz duo, Reilly Taylor-Cook and Hershel Mikel. You'll be hearing some sweet tunes as you unwind after the day's activities and have a chance to chat with Isabelle. It will be a wonderful way to welcome Isabelle to the U.S. The presentation starts at 6pm, the social hour is immediately afterwards from 7-8pm.
