What Is This Trade Show All About?
Rochester Art Supply (FineArtStore.com) will be holding a one-of-a-kind tradeshow on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the High Falls Fine Art Gallery in Rochester, NY. With the doors opening at 10am, the trade show will include major deals on your favorite brands and free educational product presentations and seminars throughout the day. The trade show floor and the product booths are open to the
public with free admission. Seminar attendees must register to attend as seating is limited. The special presentation of the day will be done by Isabelle Roche of the Henri Roche Company! Rochester Art Supply is organizing this trade show to introduce artists to high quality fine art products. We hope you make a day of it!
What Should Trade Show Attendees Expect?  Product Booths will be sent up within the gallery featuring great brands and prices. Company representatives will be on hand to answer your questions and Rochester Art Supply will have a cash register handy for those hoping to take advantage of the special trade show pricing (which will be valid only at the show!) Free Educational Product Presentations are scheduled throughout the day. Watch informative demonstrations, learn about the brands, and find out how to make the most out of your favorite products. The trade show will include presentations on Japanese paper, Enkaustikos encaustic paints, Charbonnel aqua wash printmaking inks, Sennelier oils, Michael Harding oils and many more. In fact, certified-factory instructors from Winsor & Newton will be holding a 2-hour long seminar on their artist acrylics and another 2-hour long presentation on their watercolours! The presentations and seminars all require registration as space is limited. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge on art materials by learning from those who know best! Isabelle will be flying from France to Rochester, NY just to discuss her pastel line with her dedicated pastel fans. In this featured trade show event, Isabelle will describe her company's rich and unique history in the art world and explain just what makes Roche so different from other pastel lines. Handmade since 1720, Roche pastels were the chosen pastel of renowned pastelists, Degas, Whistler, and Sisley. Roche pastels are often compared to playing a Stradivarious and with their unique texture they seem to be one of the best kept secrets in the pastel world. The is one presentation that pastelists do not want to miss out on! Our staff is referring to the event as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" for pastelists to learn about this exquisite line. The presentation will even follow with a "Meet and Greet" with Isabelle Roche. There will be reserved seating and registration is required. Be sure to register early as many artists will be traveling to Rochester just to meet Isabelle. Until now, Roche pastels were only available in a little shop in Paris, open one day a week.
