Soon to appear at the Neighborhood House and Church is the nine day creative dance and new music festival Blindspot, which is produced . Lots of great local dancers, and important composers, including John Zorn, will be offering pipe organ music, and one night our own Parker Kitterman will perform. Check out the Blindspot website.
Why is Anglicanism, which includes our Episcopal Church, referred to the "three-legged stool" and the "via media?" Why is our understanding of the eucharist known as "the doctrine of the real presence?" Who crafted the Nicene Creed, and what does it mean to say, "We believe. . . ." if we aren't absolutely sure?
This Sunday I begin a six-week all parish confirmation class, meaning, all of the parish (don't I wish) should be there to learn for the first time, or refresh if needed, the basics of our faith and Episcopal tradition.
