A Day of Wine & Horse Racing

The Maryland Wineries Association, in conjunction with the Maryland Jockey Club and the Maryland Horse Council, present DECANTER - the first event to highlight the heritage and tradition of both Maryland wine and Maryland horse racing-on April 16, 2011 at historic Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, home of the Preakness Stakes.

The Maryland Wineries Association has over 28 years experience developing and running premium wine events throughout the state of Maryland. We are excited to work with the equine community - another champion of land preservation - and Pimlico Race Course to produce a successful wine event.
