Greetings!
As a service to our members and the general public, the Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce provides a weekly subscription-based e-mail, the Chamber Grapevine, in an effort to keep our community better informed of the many Chamber-hosted and public activities in the Fairview Heights area. We hope you find this to be a useful tool. Please feel free to forward these e-mails to anyone who you think may benefit from knowing more about What's Happening in Fairview Heights. |
Leas Says Thanks to Chamber Members |
To the Membership:
I want to take a moment to let our membership know that I am leaving my position as executive director with the Fairview Heights Chamber. It is with a heavy heart that I do this. However, I'm gladly staying on until March 18 to assist the board in this transition.
I have greatly enjoyed my tenure here and I truly appreciate having had the opportunity to service the membership. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me. Even though I will miss seeing many of you on a regular basis, I am looking forward to new challenges as I start a new phase of my career.
I know the Board of Directors will ensure the membership will continue to receive quality service. You have a great team in the oncoming Board, and I wish them continued success as they lead the Chamber into the future.
Sincerely,

Scott Leas |

Make-A-Wish Foundation |
On June 9, 2011, Kurt's CARSTAR Collision Center and co-sponsor Scott Credit Union, along with the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob, Fairview Heights, Collinsville & Ed/Glen Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 5th Annual Fundraising Business after Hours!
ALL proceeds will go to The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Illinois. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000. By reaching this goal, we will be able to fund the wishes of THREE CHILDREN in the southern Illinois community and give a life changing experience to them. With your participation in our business after-hours event, we can make wishes come true.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is a great organization that grants amazing wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Please help us grant three deserving children their wishes. They didn't ask to have a life threatening illness, but they are asking for a wish to be granted!!! AND YOU CAN HELP MAKE THEIR WISH COME TRUE!!!
If your business is interested in donating, please call Susan at 618-444-2793. |
