Greetings!
Welcome to the first edition of my
essential oils e-newsletter! A couple of
weeks ago my husband was slicing an onion and sliced a rather large piece of
skin off his finger in the process.
Since he is on blood thinners, we needed to get the bleeding stopped
immediately, but not an easy task with his medications. I grabbed my bottles of Cistus oil and
Helichrysum oil and applied a drop or two of each one. The bleeding stopped and clotted within 30
seconds! Such amazing gifts these oils
are! It was this incident that got me
motivated again to actually start writing this newsletter.

| Q & A's |
|
So many of my clients, friends and family have asked me for
more information about how to use essential oils in their daily life; therefore
this newsletter. I will cover a single
oil or oil blend in each newsletter.
There will also be a question and answer section. If there are certain oils you would like more
information about, a specific condition, i.e. indigestion, fever, allergies,
headaches, etc. or general oil questions, email me and let me know. My email address is cynthia@lomiwork.com. I will feature as
many as possible in the upcoming newsletters.
So put on that thinking cap and send me all your questions for the Q
& A section.
I would also like to include a testimonial section sharing your
experiences with the oils, as well as my family's experiences. Sometimes just using an oil because it is
the only one handy, brings some surprising results! So let's start sharing.

Featured Oil -- Deep Relief Essential Oil
|
|
Ever since I got this oil in this wonderful roll-on bottle, I have been carrying it around with me everywhere I go. I have used it with clients for headaches, sinus pain, muscle spasms, and deep muscle pain with great results. I use it on my own thumbs and it has helped tremendously. This blend of essential oils has
been specially formulated to relieve muscle soreness and tension. The essential oils used in Deep Relief have traditionally been used for their
anti-inflammatory properties, and are ideal for natural relief of muscle
soreness and tension relief:
Copaiba, Copaifera L. genus, is commonly used in
anti-inflammatory recipes prescribed by traditional Amazonian medical
practitioners. Copaiba is historically recognized for reducing inflammation and muscle
discomfort.
Peppermint, Menthe piperita, is one of the most highly
regarded herbs for soothing muscle discomfort. It has also been found to
relieve tension and discomfort of the neck and head.
Wintergreen, Gaultheria procumbens, contains the
active ingredient methyl salicylate and is beneficial in massage for
soothing head tension and muscles after exercising.
Helichrysum, Helichrysum italicum, has been studied by
European researchers for regenerating tissue and improving circulation.
Helichrysum can be used for aromatherapy or diffused to aid in tension
relief.
Palo Santo, Bursera graveolens, is highly regarded as
a spiritual oil. It has
traditionally been used to purify and cleanse the spirit from negative
energies.
