CUE Presents Tools to San Diego City College
cue

Dr. Rosita Ramirez and Dominic Alpuche of CUE led a benchmarking workshop for a group of San Diego City College faculty and administrators interested in learning strategies that can help improve equal outcomes for students. The workshop, held April 29th, is part of the Bridging Research Information and Culture (BRIC) Initiative, sponsored by the Hewlett Foundation.

The Hispanic-Serving Institution has already made strides in using data to analyze student success, but faculty and administrators are receptive to learning about CUE's equity-minded approach to data analysis and inquiry through the Benchmarking Equity and Student Success Tool™ (BESST). CUE researchers will lead a similar benchmarking workshop this coming Friday in partnership with the Basic Skills Initiative (BSI) for Fresno City College and College of the Sequoias at the Clovis Learning Center, customizing the tool to express the colleges' own institutional data.
