 Camp can be a life-changing experience for kids who live at LYDIA's Residential Treatment Center. Each year, the kids ask "are we going to camp this summer?" The answer has to be "yes!"
Now you can help get them there - simply by attending a special event sponsored by projectMUSIC on Saturday, June 16. Highlights will include dinner by the bite and a concert by American Idol 2010 finalist Crystal Bowersox at the Catalyst Ranch in Chicago. Crystal performed extensively in Chicago prior to her appearance on American Idol, and she continues to tour and perform.

| Team Effort Keeps One Young Family Together |
 When Dani asked Safe Families to care for her two children, she was frightened and fragile but determined to get her life together. Just 22 years old, she had endured months of abuse from a boyfriend, was living in a shelter and unemployed. Dani wondered if we could look after her girls for just a month - maybe more.
Two families stepped up to share the assignment. Kristin Martin and her family took the toddler, Julina, and Christine Wright and her family took care of Adella, age three.
