This one-session workshop focuses
on one of the shop's most popular patterns, Three Felted Bowls.  In this class, you'll learn how to knit in the round, use double-pointed needles and how to felt your piece by hand.  The class includes all the materials (yarn, pattern and needles), plus instructions to knit and felt this adorable trio of felted vessels.  A perfect class for beginnners!

Learn to Read Patterns

Have you ever wanted to learn to knit from a pattern, only to be discouraged by confusing knitting language?  This class debunks the myths associated with knitting and transforms "knitting language" into plain English.  Learn to read charts, decipher knitting legends and become comfortable with the lay of the land.

Finishing Techniques

6-8 p.m.

 

One of the most important aspects of knitting isn't the actual knitting--it's the sewing, seaming & wrestling that some cleverly call "finishing".  Knowing how to match up the proper techniques insures overall knitting success.  This session will put you at ease, leaving you to create pieces you're proud to call hand-knit.  Learn to use four easy seams and stitch techniques to breeze your way through finishing most professional knitwear.
