Happy Friday, knitters!
Welcome to our first installment of 30 Projects For $30 (And Under!) Over the next six weeks, we'll be bringing you ideas for small-scale projects that are affordable, easy-to-knit and that would make lovely gifts for almost anyone on your list. As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, we tend to spend a little less time with our knitting and more time outside. The 30 Projects are perfect for spring knitting--lightweight, small and easy to knit. Even if you only have time for a few rows every night, you don't have to abandon your knitting until fall! 1. Three Felted Bowls

 Sure, these felted bowls are about as simple as they come, but for those of us who like to keep our clutter to a minimum (or at least store our clutter in an attractive way!), these little vessels help enormously. Knit one for the entry way table to house keys and spare change, one for your knitting needles and one for a vase of flowers! (Inside the tall white version is a pint-sized Mason jar to stabilize the bowl.) Knit in the round using the popular 18/24 gauge, this hat is a quick and easy knit. Our version is knit with Malabrigo Rios, a very hard-to-find superwash Merino wool in a beautiful range of deep, complex colors.

We love knitted washcloths. There's just something about sudsing up with a luxurious lather and a handknit cloth that seems to make the daily routine a little less humdrum.
