A Slight Change in Plans |

The bad news:
Our one-day tribute to socks originally scheduled for this Saturday, February 12th, has been moved back one week to Saturday, February 19th.
One of our dyers is a bit behind on our order and is doing her best to finish up before next weekend.
The good news:
One more week means we've an extra week to plan--we'll be adding a few more samples, kits, patterns and the best part: more yarn!
We'll be introducing an additional vendor next week with the two we had initially planned on--and this one's from Michigan!

As we continue make the transition to smaller vendors and specialty products at Wool & Honey, we also are adjusting to the "human factor" that determines the pace of one-woman and family-owned businesses. People get behind, families need us, weather can cause big delays. These cottage industries don't have warehouses and staff to manage and track their inventory--they've got kitchen sinks and utility tubs and typically, other jobs to make ends meet until their fiber businesses really take off. And while we're disappointed that particular order couldn't be here this weekend, the yarn itself is so fabulous it's worth the wait.
