How do, knitters?
Okay, deep breath, now: we're halfway there! Six weeks until D-Day. Don't freak out yet--you'd be surprised (and pleased!) to see how much a human being can really accomplish throughout the course of six weeks. Truly. Attainable.
One little project at a time....
Speaking of little, this week's project fits the bill. These ornaments are super tiny, cute and if you want to take a break from all the red and green, well, here ya go. Non-traditional holiday garb at its finest. And...for those of you who participate in this week's 12 Knits, you'll be the first customers to try out an 'experimental' yarn for Wool & Honey. The Malabrigo Silky Merino (51% Silk, 49% Merino wool; 150 yds--50 g; dk weight) is a beautiful yarn that we'll soon be adding to our long list of shop offerings, but before we do, we're testing it out on you--we're anxious to hear what you think. I couldn't resist the color for this week's project--
the color name is 'Bee'!

Three Christmas Ornaments
Christmas ornaments have always been a big deal in our house. Growing up, my mother gave each of us a special ornament every year so that when we grew up to be "big girls", we'd have a tree full of ornaments for our own homes. Some of my favorites are a glue-and-sand-covered bear I made at the Pathfinder preschool, a lighthouse from a summer vacation to Cape Hatteras and a cross-stitched bear (brandishing knitting needles, of course!) that one of my college roommates designed just for me. Why not start a new tradition in your family?
