Determined blue eyes, a lifetime of writing, and a desire to reach the hopeless is what lies behind Beulah's 2009 Christmas musical, "Broken Wings".
Vicki Mulyk has been writing stories since she was a child. Now an Edmonton playwright with a screenwriting degree from UCLA, she is currently working on an adventure-thriller movie script. When the opportunity to write a three-act drama for the church came up, it proved too tempting a challenge to resist. Read more |

Name: Nicole Ashley Proano Age:15 Serving Role: Leader in the children's ministry
Family: Living with my mom, dad, and sister. What I Enjoy Most About Serving: Knowing that I'm pleasing God and that I'm being used for His will.
How I Connect with God: Mostly through worship. I especially love seeing the kids worshipping God - that's always a reward! I also love writing in my "Dear God" journal for 12 minutes a day. Favourite Scripture: But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip. King David said this about him: I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead, or allow your Holy one to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life and you will fill me with the joy of your presence. Acts 2: 24-28 Am Passionate About: Bringing people to Christ.
Perfect Day: Time to hang out with my friends, maybe do a sing along on the guitar. Learn something new. Get an "A" on a test. Then top the day of with a short walk to the church to serve and worship my Papa. Ambition: Nothing big at the moment. I'd love to go on a mission's trip and go to college, but I don't know what I want to study quite yet. Maybe I'll become a children's pastor.
Favourite thing about Edmonton: I love the people. I love that when I smile at people I don't know they smile right back. I love Beulah, and of course the best restaurant in town is Oliveto's!
Best Advice Ever Received: It's not a religion. It's a relationship.
Hoping to Get for Christmas: A break! haha and some CD's maybe. How about The Lord Of The Rings books? Nothing big. I have everything I could ever need and want. |
Stay up-to-date with the latest on Beulah's mission's initiatives.
