Saving Lives In West Africa - Now and For Eternity By Donna Richardson

When Fatimata entered the clinic, she was tired, feverish and unable to answer questions.

Volunteer Spotlight 98A Campus
Name: Marley Horne
On Sunday mornings I serve in children's ministry with the three year olds. I also serve in young adults as a THINK table group leader and I lead a ladies' life group. Family: I live with my parents - who celebrate their 27th anniversary this month. I have an older brother and sister who are twins. My sister just got married last year and is now expecting her first child!
Occupation: Administrative Assistant for Beulah's Whitemud Creek Campus What I Enjoy Most About Serving: I love being able to share God's heart with people and being able to help out in small ways.
How I Connect with God: I love to journal and use that for quiet time to reflect and pray.
This Thanksgiving I am most thankful for: My family. I have a very close family and I am so thankful that God has kept us all together during the good times and the bad. Favourite Scripture: For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 My Hometown: St. Albert Am Passionate About: Missions - God gave me a heart to reach out to those in other countries.
Perfect day: Spending the day snowboarding in the mountains and then cozying up by a fire with a hot chocolate. A Life-Changing Book: Colossians
Favourite thing about Edmonton: The river valley in the fall. It's so beautiful with all the different colours! Either that or the snow - but not the cold!
Best Advice Ever Received: "People over projects". Tim Brokopp, Gabon, Africa |
