"Mommy, I've got socks," said one little girl.

That comment made Louise Spilsted beam and know she was doing exactly what God had intended she be doing -hosting a bi-annual event designed to pass along clothing and other small goods to the less fortunate.

Beulah's Clothing Plus More GIVEaway event celebrates its 10th anniversary this month. Since that time, it has become an army of dozens of pink-smocked volunteers: women, children, and men.

What I Enjoy Most About Serving: It brings me into closer fellowship with others.

How I Connect with God:  Other than my quiet time, I talk to God all day long. I challenge myself to recognize and acknowledge God in every situation. Sometimes it takes me awhile to notice, but good or bad, He is always there.

Favourite Scripture:   Philippians 4:6: Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

My Hometown: Peace River, Alberta

Am Passionate About: Helping others who are considering missions, and of course, NFL Football.  Go Cowboys!!

A Life-Changing Book:  The Bible

September Evokes:  Thoughts that winter is coming and those thoughts are not good ones.

Favourite Restaurant:  I am a huge fan of The Wok Box.

Best Advice Ever Received:  Before I became a Christian I was invited to come to Beulah to "hear the music". I came and I've been hearing God's music ever since.
