Chateau de Champlong Club Rendezvous Success!
Chateau de Champlong provided an excellent location and exquisite conviviality for a recent Soci�t� G�n�rale Investment Club meeting, followed by a superb meal and evening of hearty conversation. It was a resounding success, of course. What would you expect of the quality and service at Chateau de Champlong?!! Superb!
There were 14 members of the club present for 'La Table de V�ro et Olivier'. The evening's menu consisted of aperitif, and 'mise en bouche', followed by:
Saucisson vigneron, salade de pommes de terre �cras�es a la fourchette � l'huile d'olive.
Plateau du fromages affin�s par la Maison Mons.
Ile Flottante � l'orange.
All cooked, presented, and served with the normal high

Le Petit Prince - an Oasis in the Madeleine!
Puerfrancenow discovered this beautiful restaurant near les Monts de la Madeleine, in the stunning C�te Roannaise.
We had, in fact, heard of this restaurant before from some of our French friends but had never visited it.
Le Petit Prince is described in one of the local tourist guides as a 'Restauration Gastronomique'. It 'resides' in a village called St.Alban les Eaux - the home of 'St.Alban', a well known brand of bottled water which is sold internationally, including England.
St.Alban les Eaux is an attractive little village just 15km outside Roanne, and Le Petit Prince is tucked away down a little path announced by an arched and decorated metal gateway.
