Our customers are able to significantly reduce their summer utility bills and protect their homes and furnishings from sun fading with solar window sunscreens. Choose the 80% to have greater airflow through your home, or 90% to block more visibility and the sun's rays. Sunscreens reflect the sun's UV light and customers have reported receiving between 20-30% lower utility bills with Textilene Sunscreens on their home. Window glare is reduced and privacy increases as you'll be able to see out, but others can't see in. LLumar is the highest quality U.S. manufactured security glass film. It has been thoroughly tested to withstand bomb blasts and other security threats. It strengthens window glass and eliminates dangerous flying glass shards. Security Film is perfect for large applications and comes up to 72" wide.
Tinted security laminate will provide privacy by reducing visibility looking in, but not from the inside looking out. The tint will also cut 99% of Ultraviolet radiation protecting window shutters, blinds, and fabrics. The laminate will reduce utility bills by blocking 60% of the heat through the windows.
Security laminate is a cost effective method to armor your untextured windows. LLumar film is the only film made with Dupont polyester, which is the highest quality polyester manufactured. The 8 mil film provides a very high level of protection and is the same material the government demands for all of their military installations (GSA level 3B).
Both the tinted and clear film have low visual distortion providing optical clarity, however the clear doesn't qualify for federal tax credits. The film is easily cleaned with standard window cleaner and may be applied to both the interior and exterior on a dual pane insulated glass unit.
