Kinsmen Day at the Museum:

 The Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan is pleased to announce that the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon will be sponsoring a free "Kinsmen Day at the Museum" once per month for all of 2012.
"Kinsmen Day at the Museum" will be held the fourth Sunday of each month, with admission to the Museum free to everyone, courtesy of the Kinsmen Club. The free "Kinsmen Day at the Museum" is an important component of the museum's Access Program, which strives to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent children and families from taking advantage of the programs and exhibits at the Children's Discovery Museum located at Market Mall.
The first free Kinsmen Day for 2012 is Sunday, January 22. The museum will be open to the public free of charge from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m.

We are happy to welcome Anneka Drinkwater as our new Volunteer Coordinator! If you are interested in volunteering, please email her at volunteering@museumforkids.sk.ca, we have all kinds of opportunities, from helping out with school groups to planning fundraising events.

Access Program 2011

 Our Access Program 2011 was a huge success! 50 school and preschool groups from Saskatoon's Community Schools visited the Museum at no cost to them, thanks to the generosity of the Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund, the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, and Affinity Credit Union. We look forward to offering more free visits in 2012. If you are interested in sponsoring this program, please contact Erica Bird.
