Greetings!

The weather is finally getting colder. On the bright side, Market Mall has underground heated parking! Come and visit the Children's Discovery Museum on a blustery fall day.

Our Mendel Re-use Proposal

Come and show your support!

The Children's Discovery Museum will be participating in the City of Saskatoon Kinsmen Park & Area Public Open Houses in November, and we encourage you to come out and show your support! This is a great opportunity for you to see potential museum floor plans, give input on potential exhibits and programs, and talk with board members about our exciting expansion plans.

These information sessions are being held to review a new Master Plan for Kinsmen Park and Area, which provides a long-term plan for the rejuvenation of the park and the adaptive re-use of the Mendel Gallery Building.

Mommy Hands Baby Sign Language

November 26, 10 - 11 a.m.

A great introductory baby signing class for the whole family! The topics discussed will include: the benefits of signing, the ASL alphabet, signing success, starter signs and signing resources. The class will also consist of a signing sing-a-longs and story time.

Roz Jutras, owner and operator of Mommy Hands Baby Sign Language, instructs parents on how to improve communication with their little ones through American Sign Language. Roz has taught baby signing classes since 2007 and enjoys sharing the benefits of sign language with her participants. In addition, Roz is a certified Baby Signing Time Instructor, Barefoot Books Ambassador, and Happiest Baby Educator.
