We have loads of fun stuff coming this fall, like the cool new exhibit on loan to us from the Winnipeg and London children's museums: Much More Munsch. It will be here from September 15 through December. Stay tuned for more details!

| Discovery Dash | |
 What a great day it was for the 2nd annual Discovery Dash. 172 runners were there and over $4,500 was raised for the Children's Discovery Museum. Thank you so very much to everyone who supported this great event - runners, swag and draw prize donors, Shaw, SaskTel, SaskEnergy, Blue Cross, the Mendel Art Caravan, AIL Insurance, Safeway, and especially the volunteers who helped with the planning and executing of this fantastic family day in the park.
It was hard to decide which was more exciting to the little ones - their medal, touring the fire truck and police car, or taking part in one of the many other great activities provided by our volunteers. The weather cooperated 100%, although the race course had to be adjusted a bit to avoid the water puddles.
Thanks again to everyone - see you in July, 2011!

March with Much More Munsch at Market Mall

 How is that for a mouth full? As part of our Much More Munsch Grand Opening celebrations, on September 18 @ 11 a.m., everyone is invited to take part in a parade that will leave from the south doors of Market Mall. We don't have to worry about rain on our parade as it will all be indoors.
Anyone in costume, or with a Food Bank donation, will receive free admission to the Much More Munsch exhibit and the Children's Discovery Museum! Other fun things will be going on at the same time - watch our web page for updates - this is just a teaser. See you on the 18th.
