 ... to us! We celebrated our first year of being open to the public in our Market Mall location on May 13, 2010. We hosted 10,000 visitors in our first year, including children from 85 school groups. Thirty of those school groups were funded
through the Museum's Access program, made possible by the Museum's generous
sponsors. We hope you join us in making the second year as great as the first!

| Children's Festival | |
The Children's Discovery Museum will be at the Children's Festival next week, Wednesday through Saturday, in the Kindergarten tent. Stop by and say hi! There will be fun things for kids to do and our staff and volunteers are always happy to chat.
We will have an interactive North Woods exhibit for kids to explore and enjoy: Sit around the "campfire" on lawn chairs while kids make cook a yummy pretend meal for you. Inside the tent will be a puppet theatre as well as other interactive things to do. Hopefully the sun will shine all week.
