We have been announcing that every 7th of the month is free, courtesy of Tim Hortons, for 2 months now, but only to our privileged readers. Now we get to tell everyone. As of March 4, it is official, the news release has been "leaked to the press".
It is with great excitement that we invite you to join Tim Hortons and the Children's Discovery Museum staff and Board at the museum to celebrate, this Sunday, March 7. Admission is free and Tim Hortons treats will be served on-site.
The press has also been invited so be ready to be photographed. We look forward to your support.
A huge thank you to
for supporting the Children's Discovery Museum.

Visit us at the Family Fair (at Prairieland Exhibition), coming up in April. There will be an interactive child craft, just stop by our booth, toss a few bean bags, and visit while the little ones learn about animals.

WinterShines 2010 ran for 3 weekends in late January & early February, during which, we collected lots of entries in the ballot box. When I called the Jackson home and asked for the name on the ballot, Susan was surprised to hear me ask for her two year old child. On his behalf, Susan was very happy to know that the Jackson family now has a one year family membership to the Children's Discovery Museum. I was surprised at the neatness of the writing.
The birthday party for 10 children was won by Riel Castro-Zunti, who had this to say "We love the Children's Museum in Winnipeg and would love to see something similar in Saskatoon's South downtown development". |
