Only three days left! We are still a few presents short of our goal of giving a present to every child living at Infinity House this holiday season. If you are coming in to the Museum in the next three days, please consider bringing a toy to wrap and donate!
 
Step 1: Buy a toy.
Step 2: Bring it to the Children's Discovery Museum to wrap it and make a gift tag.
Step 3: Leave it with us - we will be delivering them to Infinity House* on December 20th!
*Infinity House is a non-profit charitable organization that is
dedicated to providing long-term housing for single Aboriginal mothers and their children in a safe, secure environment.

| Holiday Donation Drive |

Our Holiday Donation Drive will end on December 31. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Museum and to those who are in the process of doing so. Your donations help us provide a place full of opportunities that spark the imagination of our youngest citizens and future leaders. To make giving as easy as possible, a gift page has been set up at CanadaHelps. In 2 minutes, all your Holiday donations can be made at one spot as every registered charity in Canada is listed on this site - it just does not get any easier. A tax deductible receipt will be sent to you by email. Of course, you can also donate directly at the Museum desk or by mail.

The Holiday Cards are now on sale for $9.99, but there aren't many left! Packages contain eight cards with the art work shown below, done by four budding artists and museum visitors: Ethan, Emma, Jack and Noah. All proceeds go the the Children's Discovery Museum.

It's all FREE!
 We are excited to tell you that on the 7th of every month in 2010, Tim Hortons is sponsoring a free day at the Museum! Tim Horton wore the number 7 while playing for the Maple Leafs. Sorry, coffee will not be served at the museum.
 Have you seen our ad? There is still time to use that coupon from The StarPhoenix, Planet S, or Neighborhood Express that is good for free admission for the whole family. There are just a few weeks left to take advantage of the offer. While at the museum, enter your name in the draw for a gift bag.
As well as being a free day at the Children's Discovery Museum, February 7th will see the CDM at the Heritage Fair. This event is hosted by the Western Development Museum and admission is free. There will be activities, crafts and lots of things to see and do. Hours are noon till 5 p.m.
