| Holiday Donation Drive |
|
Our Holiday Donation Drive has been in place for a month now - thank you to everyone who has supported the Museum and to those who are in the process. To make giving as easy as possible, a gift page has been set up at CanadaHelps. In 2 minutes, all your Holiday donations can be made at one spot as every registered charity in Canada is listed on this site - it just does not get any easier. A tax deductible receipt will be sent to you by email. Of course, you can also donate directly at the Museum desk or by mail.

Help spread the joy this holiday season!

Step 1: Buy a toy.
Step 2: Bring it to the Children's Discovery Museum to wrap it and make a gift tag.
Step 3: Leave it with us - we will be delivering them to Infinity House* on December 20th!

| Holiday Gifts |

Ah, the shopping days are counting down. Without snow, it is hard to get into the spirit but the calendar says it is almost gift giving time. To make things easier, how about a a Family Membership to the Children's Discovery Museum for $60.00, good for one year from purchase: unlimited visits, 10% off parties and merchandise, enjoy the weekend speakers, use the craft room and more. This is something the whole family can do and is a gift that will continue to give all year. Include that family membership in one of our Children's Discovery Museum Holiday Cards, which feature the art work shown below, done by four budding artists and museum visitors: Ethan, Emma, Jack and Noah. A package of 8 cards is $12 and all proceeds go the the Children's Discovery Museum.

| Day of the Child Fair |
|
Thanks for celebrating with us!
The first annual Day of the Child was a big success. We had lots and lots of visitors come to Market Mall to enjoy the Museum, the wonderful activities and the fabulous entertainment.
Not only was the Day of the Child a joint project of local volunteer and nonprofit groups supporting each other to provide a special day for children, it was a showcase of some of the wonderful things kids can do in Saskatoon. And the available tables were sold out before the end of October - amazing for this inaugural event. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Plans are already being made for an even bigger and better event on Saturday, November 20, 2010 - mark your calendar and book early.
