Holiday Greeting Cards
Winter holidays in the summer?!

Yes, that's right! We are inviting all children to submit a drawing of what the winter holidays mean to them. Snowball fights? Opening presents? Family celebrations?...

Submission forms and art supplies will be available at the Museum from August 2 to September 15, 2009.

10 drawings will be selected and used for Holiday Greeting Cards that we will sell in packages of 10 in October, November and December. All proceeds will go to the Children's Discovery Museum.

Greetings!

Happy summer from all of us at the Children's Discovery Museum!
Discovery Dash
Discovery Dash
Thank to everyone who helped make the inaugural Discovery Dash a big success. It was a great (and hot!) day, and we were thrilled that 135 of you made it out to dash or watch your kids dash. We raised $3,500 and these funds go directly to the Children's Discovery Museum to support our mission of fostering curiosity, creativity and a life-long love of learning in children ages 10 and under through our exhibits, programming and outreach. Thank you! We hope to see you next year!
New Hours
We are now open on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as the rest of the week! However, groups have priority on these days so please call ahead (683-2555) or check the website calendar for closures due to large group bookings.
