are open! The Children's Discovery Museum, the 10th children's museum in
Canada, opened its doors on May 13. Thank you to everyone who worked
so hard and supported us to make this happen. This is just the
beginning and we look forward to your continued support as we grow with

Open House

Children's Discovery Museum will be hosting an Open House on Saturday,
June 20th. Come enjoy a complimentary visit on us, bring your kids to
make a Father's Day craft and meet your Children's Discovery

Discovery Dash
|

 Mark your calendars! The first annual Discovery Dash is happening on July 18, 2009
in Rotary Park. This family event in support of the Children's
Discovery Museum will feature a 5K run/walk, 50- and 100-metre dashes

share their skills and expertise with families at the Museum this
summer. We have special guests and workshops scheduled on weekends

School and Preschool Visits
|
|
 Are
you looking for somewhere new to take your students this June? School
and preschool groups are invited to book a visit on Mondays or
Tuesdays, morning or afternoon. Times are flexible and costs are
$2.50/child for preschools and $3.00/child for schools. Please contact

Birthday Parties

 Yes,
we host birthday parties! We are currently offering 1.5 hours of free
play plus 45 minutes in the private party room for $85 for 10 children.
Additional children are $5/each. You may bring in food for the party
room, but please note we are a nut alert facility. To book your party,
please call the museum at 683-2555 during business hours.
