This being an agricultural state, you'll find all sorts of barnyard animals... ranging from oxen and cows to roosters of every variety. You'll also not want for entertainment, great eats, midway offerings, rides, cotton candy, homemade fudge, and the like. Whether you're nine or ninety-two you'll have a great time! Check out our Vermont Country Fairs Page for Dates, Locations, and Maps & Directions. Enjoy!

A "Must Do" is to visit a Farmers' Market. They have become hugely popular, and for good reason. What could be more enjoyable than browsing an incredible number of offerings including such things as fresh baked goods, handmade clothing items, fresh veggies, Vermont honey, handmade leather goods, jewelry, plants and you-name-it! And, great eatin'. There's over 70 of them throughout the state. Check 'em out!
