Healthy Lifestyles Club Yoga Classes a Big Success
Capitalizing on the success of its yoga classes last year, Lord Beaverbrook High School's Healthy Lifestyles Club invited The Yoga Studio South back this fall as part of a program to increase students' awareness of staying well through exercise and other lifestyle choices. The first early morning event in October drew a record 40 students and teachers. This success prompted a second class December 9, which drew a smaller but dedicated class who braved frigid temperatures for the early morning workout with Yoga Studio South director Rob Walker.

Food Bank
We are so grateful for the generous donations of food and money at both Yoga Studio South locations. They will be much appreciated by the needy.
Karma Yoga Classes
The Karma Yoga Classes at Yoga Studio South, taught by teacher trainees and held to raise money for the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, raised almost $400 in the fall. Thank you everyone who taught and who attended.
