UJA-Federation Honors David G. Hunt

UJA Presentation

July 3, 2012 - Plainview, NYOver 100 business leaders gathered to honor David G. Hunt, president of Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. and Hunt Construction Services, Inc. for leadership in his field and his commitment to philanthropy, by UJA-Federation of NY, at its annual Long Island Real Estate and Building Materials Division Cocktail Reception on June 13, 2012.   This event brings together accomplished industry leaders who give their time, talent, and financial support to advance the meaningful work of UJA-Federation.  Committee member Arthur Katz of Knockout Pest Control, presented David with a Tzedakah (Charity) Box that says, "Whoever saves a life, it's as if one saves the entire world."

UJA works to help support more than 100 health, human-service, relief, educational and community-building agencies on Long Island, Westchester, New York City, Israel and in communities around the world.

"What is less known is that UJA-Federation is committed to serving New York's entire community, both Jewish and non-Jewish through its agencies.  Most organizations supported by UJA are open to people of all faiths, from shelters for battered women to free day camps for children with cancer.  As an interfaith minister, I applaud and encourage UJA-Federation in their efforts to support all the worthwhile causes that they do," said Hunt.
